The leader is Bohdan Kostyantynovych Ostafiychuk, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor.
The work of the Laboratory consists both in performing fundamental research and in the development of new functional materials with predetermined properties. The main priority of work is active participation in scientific projects (international and domestic). The scientific results obtained in the Laboratory formed the basis of dozens of dissertations, articles and patents.
