On the World Science Day for Peace and Development, the Department of Materials Science and New Technologies organised an exciting, interactive lecture “Science is Cool!” for students of the Ivano-Frankivsk Professional College of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
The Head of the Department, Volodymyr Kotsyubynskyy, and the Deputy Director of the College, Tatyana Polyakova, made introductory remarks.
Andrii Olehovych, a doctoral student of the department, gave a fascinating excursion into the world of science, revealing to the students the mysterious aspects of fire and ice, heat and cold, light and darkness.
A pleasant part of the lecture was the presentation of gifts to active students. This event not only provided an opportunity to gain new knowledge, but also showed how interesting and important it is to study science!
