The Summer School for university students on the development of nanotechnology, Industry 4.0 and artificial intelligence in Slovenia has ended

During July 3-16, 30 students of Precarpathian University of various specialties participated in the Summer School at the University of Nova Gorica in Slovenia. Given the restrictions on crossing the border, 100 university students took part in online training.

During the visit, the first vice-rector Valentyna Yakubiv discussed promising directions of cooperation between the universities and new project cooperation opportunities with the rector of the University of Nova Gorica, Bostian Golob.

The teachers of the department of management and business administration of our university were involved in the trainings. At the Summer School trainings, students of Precarpathian University, together with students of the Republic of Poland and Italy, worked in multidisciplinary teams.

According to the results of the Summer School, students of Precarpathian University, together with students from the Republic of Poland and Italy, working in multidisciplinary teams, created 5 startups in the field of nanotechnology, medicine, and artificial intelligence. The acquired knowledge, skills and experience in the combination of science and business will enable our students to expand their employment opportunities in the labor market. And university teachers, working together with experts from partner universities in Italy and Slovenia, improved their professional skills.
