The center was created in 2007 on the basis of the sociological laboratory of the university. The main areas of research are the problems of improving the educational process at the university and studying the features of the social, economic and political development of the region.
Systematic monitoring of the “Teacher through the eyes of the student” is carried out, aimed at ensuring effective communicative interaction of the subjects of the educational process.
Empirical sociological research is conducted on socially significant issues of the development of the Ivano-Frankivsk region: “Electoral sympathies of the population of the region”, “Attitude of employees of state authorities and local governments to the problems of Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine”. The Center cooperates with the “NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine”, public organizations, university and non-governmental analytical institutions of Lithuania and Poland.
