The center was created with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine and the National Research Fund of Ukraine for joint use of scientific equipment with the Institute of Metallurgy named after H.V. Kurdyumov National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Ivan Franko Lviv National University, Yuri Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University.
The center actively works on obtaining the results of scientific research and scientific and technical developments in physical materials science, promotes the implementation of targeted scientific programs and projects in specified directions, ensures the conduct of material science research by scientific and scientific and pedagogical workers, doctoral students, graduate students and students, which is reflected in publications in prestigious scientific publications indexed by Scopus and Web of Science scientometric databases.
The Center’s laboratory equipment is characterized by a high level of technical complexity, which provides a variety of analytical methods for studying the physical and chemical properties of materials. The main goal of the Center is to increase the effectiveness of scientific research conducted by Ukrainian scientists in the field of applied materials science.
