On January 17, the Project Management Department conducted a training on the preparation of an application form for participation in the ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet 2023 competition to increase the participation of university researchers in project and grant work.
The event was opened with an introductory speech by Valentyna Yakubiv, First Vice-Rector of Precarpathian University. First of all, she emphasized that the Jean Monnet ERASMUS+ program is one of the educational programs of the European Union, which aims to increase the level of knowledge and awareness of society on European integration through stimulating teaching and research on European integration. The vice-rector noted that we have the opportunity to create something new and develop our research activities, despite the challenges of martial law.
Ruslan Gaiduk, a leading specialist in the Project Management Department, told how to prepare an application form, how the amount of the grant is formed depending on the efforts expended. He analyzed the main trends and tendencies, namely specification and detailing, emphasis on SMART principles, determining the European focus, priorities of the EU and the European Commission.
Also, Oleksandr Romanovych Kovalyshyn, Associate Professor of the Department of Judicial Procedure, spoke about his experience in preparing the project, as in 2018 the Educational and Research Institute of Law of the Precarpathian University won the competition of the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Program.
As part of the training, participants had the opportunity to ask questions. For example, they were interested in the minimum number of participants, the time limit for training courses, the specifics of filling out the necessary documents and forms, and more.
