Center for Innovative Teaching Methods

Director – Liliia Yaroslavivna Midak, PhD in Chemistry, Associate Professor, Associate Professor at the Department of Environmental Chemistry and Chemical Education.

The Center was established to promote the modernization of the educational process, to create and develop a modern educational environment aligned with the New Ukrainian School principles, to implement innovative teaching methods in general secondary, extracurricular, professional pre-higher and higher education institutions, and to prepare participants of the educational process for the use of innovative educational technologies.

The Center’s main activities include:

  • dissemination of innovative pedagogical practices and educational technologies, as well as author-developed programs and teaching methods;

  • organization and implementation of scientific, methodological, cultural, educational, and other events aimed at promoting, supporting, and developing STEAM education;

  • enhancing the level of professional skills and competencies of educational staff (higher education lecturers, secondary school teachers, and other education professionals) in line with the New Ukrainian School concept;

  • supporting the organization and facilitation of the educational process and research activities of higher education students;

  • organizing seminars, trainings, and workshops for academic and teaching staff of general secondary, extracurricular, professional pre-higher and higher education institutions, aimed at the implementation of innovative educational technologies and the creation of a modern educational environment.
